By importing your Spotify playlists into Feelment, you can legally use them in fitness classes, as Feelment is licensed for public performance. Feelment's music service is designed for everyone who uses music in fitness instruction. Our service is suitable for group fitness instructors, fitness centers, dance and Lavis instructors, as well as other wellness professionals. Can Spotify be used in fitness instruction?

The short answer – no. Playing background music during fitness classes is considered public performance of music, and Spotify’s terms of use prohibit public use of the service. That’s why you need a music service licensed for public use, such as Feelment.

No fixed-term commitment

You can pause your music subscription, for example during the summer holidays, as Feelment’s music service is offered with an ongoing subscription and a one-month notice period.

Offline music playback

You can download playlists in advance for offline use, allowing you to play music even without an internet connection.

How does the Feelment's music service work?

Feelment’s background music service works through an app that can be downloaded on iOS, Android, or Windows devices. The service is easy to set up, and you can play music directly from your own device. For fitness instructors, we especially recommend the iOS or Android version of our app, as it includes the latest features of the service.

If you want an especially effortless solution, you can also get the required device directly from us as part of the same service.

Who is the service intended for?

Feelment’s music service is suitable for everyone who uses music in fitness instruction – from individual instructors to large fitness centers across Finland.

Can I use my own playlists?

Absolutely! You can easily copy your Spotify playlists into Feelment and then use them legally in your classes through the Feelment app. You can also create your own playlists directly within the Feelment app.

Do I need separate music licences?

In order to play music in customer spaces and during fitness instruction, you need both a music service licensed for public use and a background music license. Feelment does not include the background music license, so it must be purchased separately from the Musiikkiluvat.fi online store.

Do I need technical skills to use Feelment?

No technical skills are required. 🤗 Feelment’s music service is designed to work smoothly without constant setup or technical expertise. In addition, we’re here to help you and answer the phone every day of the year from 9 AM to 11 PM.

Does Feelment work without an internet connection?

Yes! You can download playlists in advance for offline mode, allowing you to use music even without an internet connection.

Is there a fixed-term contract?

No. Feelment’s background music service has no fixed-term contracts or hidden fees. The subscription is ongoing with a one-month notice period. You can also pause the service when needed, for example during holidays, and continue your subscription afterward.

Can I get help if something doesn't work?

Of course! Our phone support is available every day of the year from 9 AM to 11 PM at +358 29 1234 122. We’re happy to help with both small and large technical issues.

Got your licenses covered?

To legally play music in customer spaces, you need both a background music service licensed for public use, such as Feelment, and a background music license. The background music license can be purchased separately from the Musiikkiluvat.fi online store.
