This document explains the principles and practices of the Feelment service that Viihdeväylä follows to ensure the privacy of its customers, the confidentiality of their communications and their legal protection, both in terms of data protection and data security.

Viihdeväylä automatically collects and processes information about the Customer, the order and the use of the services in accordance with this Privacy and Security Statement when the Customer orders and uses the Feelment service.

Viihdeväylä will regularly review its privacy and security policy and update this written statement as its operations and the Feelment service evolve. We encourage the Customer to regularly review our most recent Privacy and Security Policy.

In this statement, we have compiled our key privacy and data protection principles and practices that we follow to ensure the privacy of our customers and the confidentiality of their communications. This statement applies to all processing of business and personal data in connection with our services:

Grounds

When you buy a service from us, we sign a contract with you. In order to provide the agreed service and the related billing, accounting and payment control, as well as the content provision subscribed to by the Customer, we process not only business data, but also necessary personal data, such as billing basis, location and place of use of the Service.

The processing of personal and business data is based on a contract between the Customer and Viihdeväylä, data obtained in connection with the use of the service or registration, or the consent of the Customer.

 

 

Collection and use of data

Viihdeväylä processes information about the Customer and services primarily for the purpose of managing the customer relationship. We offer our services mainly to business customers or traders. When we enter into business-to-business agreements, we collect and process various business and personal information to provide services, maintain and market services, or otherwise cooperate with you.

Business information refers to information that allows a business and its operator to be identified. Personal data means information from which an individual can be identified. However, these individuals and the information about them are always related to Viihdeväylä's Customers or customer relationships.

This business and personal information may be obtained not only from the company and the customer itself, for example, when registering for the Service, but also from public sources. This information will always be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The primary data collected and processed are:

  • Basic customer information: name of the company or trader, business identity number and the persons in charge of the company or trader and their personal identification numbers;
  • Customer contact details: postal address, email, exact billing information;
  • Information on the main users representing the customer and other contact details;
  • In addition, communications between Viihdeväylä and the Customer regarding orders, confirmations and payments are collected and stored;
  • The IP address of the device used by the customer;
  • Information related to customer management, i.e. billing, payment and debt collection;
  • The type and duration of the customer's subscription and access rights;
  • Information systems log transactions concerning the use of services and the customer user account.

In practice, the various data collected from the customer as described above form  Viihdeväylä's customer register, where the data is registered.

We process your data when we need to do so in order to pursue our legitimate interests . In such cases, we process the information necessary to perform and maintain the services, to improve and maintain statistics and to develop our business. In addition, we may provide you with information about our services that may be of interest to you as part of our legitimate interest.

Viihdeväylä is also obliged to report to the rights holders of the Feelment Service content or their representatives: the revenue per customer, the content used in the Services, the amount of use and, where applicable, this information on a per-user and per-customer basis. In connection with this usage reporting, the reporting may include, for example, the Customer's business or personal identification number to identify the Site or Customer.

Viihdeväylä will retain the Customer's data in accordance with the legislation in force at the time (e.g. accounting and tax legislation) and only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. However, the Customer's data may still be stored for a further three (3) years after the termination of the customer relationship.

Necessary cookies

Some cookies, traces or scripts are necessary for the technical functioning and use of our website. Some cookies, traces and scripts are used for the continuous development of our Services.

Information collected by cookies may be disclosed to third parties to support marketing. The information contained in the cookie may be linked to the business or personal information we collect and to the Customer's username.

In connection with our Services, we use our own and third-party technical tools to collect information about your use of the Services and to improve our services and, in particular, our customer service.

Profiling

We want to tailor and develop our services, marketing and other interactions to suit you.

We can target the marketing of our services that interest you in our activities. We may use general customer information we have about you and usage data we collect about your use of the service for profiling purposes.

Disclosure of information

Viihdeväylä may disclose information to third parties or authorities within the limits permitted and required by applicable law and also on the basis of what has been agreed and accepted in the terms of use between Viihdeväylä and the Customer (contractual basis for disclosure).

Business and personal data and other information related to the service customer relationship may also be disclosed to third parties in connection with any acquisition, merger, outsourcing, business combination or transfer of business.

Data security

The data is stored and processed on servers and services located in the European Community.

Viihdeväylä will ensure the security of the Feelment service by applying various technical procedures that are appropriate to the severity of the threats, the level of technical sophistication and the cost.

Management connections to servers and the transfer of customer data in connection with purchase transactions and billing data are made using secure connections.

Our registers and server operations are properly protected in accordance with industry standards and through various technical security systems. We may use third party service providers to provide technical solutions and services for the processing of stored data.

Unfortunately, no security system can be guaranteed to be completely secure or error-free. For this reason, it is also the Customer's responsibility to take appropriate measures to ensure his own security.

Data breaches

To prevent data breaches and to remedy security incidents, we take immediate action, including the removal of viruses and other malicious software and other similar necessary technical measures, to the extent permitted and required by law. This may, for example, prevent the transmission or receipt of infected messages between Viihdeväylä and the Customer. Viihdeväylä will always inform the Customer without delay if any security breaches or, for example, viruses/malware are detected in the course of or in connection with the provision of the Customer-specific Service.

Inspection and access rights

The data subject has the right to inspect and obtain a copy of the data stored in the customer register concerning them.

The data subject has the right to require the controller to correct inaccurate business or personal data concerning the data subject and to complete incomplete business or personal data.

The data subject has the right to obtain from the controller the erasure of outdated data concerning them. In addition, the data subject has the right to obtain the erasure of data relating to them if the data subject withdraws the consent on which the processing was based and there is no other lawful basis for the processing.

In order to exercise any of the rights referred to herein, the data subject must contact the person responsible for the register in writing.

 

Updating and verifying information

When you deal with us, we will ask you for your business or personal information. If your details have changed, we will ask you to update your details with us.

If you discover an error in your own information, you can correct it by informing us by contacting customer service.
