The 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship will be played from May 15 to May 31, 2026, in Zurich and Fribourg, Switzerland. Finland’s journey toward World Championship glory begins with Group A matches, which will be played in Zurich at Swiss Life Arena. In the opening game on May 15, at 5:15 PM, Finland will face Germany. Just like last year, Viaplay will once again show every single Ice Hockey World Championship match.
