The company’s founder, Kalervo, has been involved in the entertainment business since the age of 13. In his own words, he has been “drifting like a chip on the waves,” as many things in his career have happened through lucky coincidences. Still, entrepreneurship hasn’t been just a game of chance — it’s been driven by enthusiasm, hard work, and persistence. There have been moments of frustration, but despite that, Kalervo keeps creating and trying — succeeding, or almost succeeding.
“Trial and error has been our greatest teacher, a good example being the Livevisa project. Tremendous enthusiasm collapsed due to poor groundwork.” There’s no point in dwelling on mistakes, so the motto “so what” perfectly sums up Kalervo’s attitude. That said, he’s also highly responsible — if he makes a promise, he keeps it.
Kalervo is known for his extroverted nature, and his workdays are filled with conversations and interactions with people. In his free time, you might find him playing the piano, enjoying a game of badminton, or reading a good book. When it comes to Feelment, his go-to tunes range from grand jazz to Finnish favorites like Ultra Bra or Saimaa.
