It was 2019 when Jussi’s current role at Feelment began to take shape. Representing the second generation of a family business, Jussi was working part-time at the company while attending wilderness guide school. When Feelment needed someone for technical support, Jussi left his outdoor adventures behind and joined full-time.
These days, Jussi spends most of his workdays on development tasks and running the device service. After his morning coffee, he usually starts setting up machines: “The number of devices has grown so much that setting them up is a full-time job. The device work keeps running alongside everything else.”
If Jussi were to open a restaurant, he would definitely use Feelment’s Advertising service, his favorite feature: “Free service and free ads!” 🔥 For background music, he’d play either his own Spotify playlists imported to Feelment or the Metal Power Gym playlist.
Jussi approaches everyday blunders with a relaxed attitude; his volunteer fire department experience has taught him that everything is fine as long as everyone gets through it safely. Sometimes, however, time could be saved — like the time he rushed from Helsinki to Imatra because of a customer’s distorted music: “On-site, it turned out the gain knob on the music channel was turned all the way up — it could have been fixed over the phone.” His easygoing attitude is also reflected in his karaoke go-to: Jari Sillanpää’s Oon Kuka Oon.
Favorite artist/band?
No all-time favorite — his taste changes seasonally; next week it might be metal, the week after classical. That said, Vesterinen Yhtyeineen is always a staple.
Hobbies?
In addition to the volunteer fire department, mountain biking and gym workouts; in winter, ice hockey and coaching youth hockey.
Three words that best describe you?
