Olli Aska

Olli’s career at the company began when he picked up the phone and cold-called his way into a job. A couple of weeks after an initial rejection, the answer turned positive. “Back then, one person had a wide range of responsibilities, so I handled sales, marketing, customer service, invoicing, and device deliveries.” Today, Olli’s workdays are largely focused on sales and developing Viihdeväylä’s business. His interest in entrepreneurship seems to run in the family; he learned from his late entrepreneur grandfather that “knowledge and skills are a company’s most important assets.”

Olli also has experience in playing music and hosting karaoke. “I even created one playlist for Feelment back in the day.” These days, you don’t see him on the karaoke stage much: “About 15 years ago, I performed Metallica’s Seek and Destroy with a friend.” Although his karaoke performances have become rare, Metallica remains a favorite. If Olli gets to choose, you’ll hear Metallica along with Feelment’s Heavy Metal playlist blasting from the speakers.

Three words that best describe you? 

Thoughtful, quick-moving (in certain things), and cheerful.

Hobbies? 

Exercise, especially skiing and recreational floorball, when there’s time. He comes from a competitive sports family; as kids, they even had a podium in the yard. A couple of times a year, he also spends free time hunting.
