Niko Kovalainen

When Juulianna went on parental leave, Niko packed his backpack full of cheerful energy and headed toward the Pello office. “I knew Juulianna beforehand; she called me and asked me to join this job. I was living in Helsinki, so I moved back to Lapland and started working at Feelment.”

Niko’s workdays are spent chatting with customers. Sometimes, he also dedicates time to handling invoicing and reporting. Whatever is on your mind, you’ll quickly get an answer from our cheerful all-rounder in customer service.

The world’s toughest armchair athlete’s favorite feature in Feelment is, of course, sports: “Turning on MTV Sport directly from the app always brings a smile to my face.” Niko’s competitive spirit is strong; in his free time, he races reindeer and also competes in ice fishing. The spare time left after competing is spent baking and knitting. When it comes to background music, Niko enjoys all kinds of tunes, but you won’t often find him on the karaoke stage: “I’ve only sung Lord Est’s ‘Reggaerekka’ once.”

A funny work blunder that stuck with you?

A couple come to mind. Once I was about to send three times the number of invoices. That wasn’t funny at the time, but looking back it’s amusing. I’ve also had to send a sports contract to a client five times because I kept noticing something that needed correcting.
