Iina’s path to Feelment started in a fun way while she was studying marketing: “I wanted a job in my field, and a friend reminded me of the school’s job board. The first listing I saw there was Feelment’s.” The job interview with Olli and Valtteri has stuck in her memory: “I was sweating in my chair and had no idea how it went, but here I am.”

 

Iina’s work is full of variety and fast-paced tasks; sometimes she’s creating a customer story, other times dangling from a lamp in the Helsinki office to get the perfect shot for the Feelment app. “Most of my work time goes into running marketing campaigns — newsletters, blogs, and the website.”

 

Iina has a “everything can be done” attitude and plenty of willingness to jump in. When making customer stories, she often finds herself in unexpected situations, like singing karaoke for a complete stranger at a birthday party or in front of Japanese TV media. She’s flexible with her karaoke repertoire: “I try to sing a different song each time because variety keeps it fresh.”

 

Iina’s special skill is automating tasks so no one has to remember anything by heart — though she herself remembers almost everything, sometimes too well. Her favorite Feelment feature is playing multiple playlists at once — usually, you’ll hear Fika Paus and Chill Indie A La Carte blasting through the speakers.

Hobbies?

Collecting unfinished craft projects, painting, spotting typos, and road rage.

 

A funny work blunder that stuck with you?

I accidentally sent a webinar invite for “Marketing of Strong Alcoholic Beverages in Restaurants” to churches, community colleges, and pharmacies. Feedback came pretty quickly: apparently, that wasn’t quite the right audience. I’ll never forget when Juulianna from customer service called me and asked, “Who did you send this to?!”
