Using background music without an Internet connection

Feelment automatically downloads tracks before playback, allowing music to continue playing even if your internet connection becomes unstable. If you expect limited or unreliable connectivity, you can download playlists in advance for offline use.

Please note: The browser version of Feelment (available through My Feelment) does not support offline playlist downloads.

Important: The Feelment app must be connected to the internet at least once per month to verify your active subscriptions.

Windows Devices

  1. Open the desired playlist by clicking the playlist icon (not the Play button).
  2. Add the playlist to your favorites by clicking the heart icon.
  3. Click Download for Offline Use (the cloud icon).

Alternative Method

  1. Right-click the playlist name on a computer, or press and hold the playlist name on a tablet.
  2. Select Download for Offline Use.

Viewing Download Progress or Pausing Downloads

To see the number of remaining downloads, click the animated cloud icon in the left-hand sidebar. You can pause ongoing downloads by selecting Pause.

iOS and Android Devices

  1. Open the playlist by tapping the playlist icon (not the Play button).
  2. Tap the download arrow button.
  3. A cloud icon will appear next to downloaded tracks, indicating that they are available offline.

Removing Offline Downloads

  1. Open the playlist by tapping the playlist icon.
  2. Tap the download arrow button.
  3. Select Remove Downloads.

Download Speed

Download times depend on:

  • Your internet connection speed
  • The number of playlists and tracks being downloaded

If you are downloading a large number of playlists or have a slow connection, we recommend leaving the device powered on overnight.

Storage Usage

Background music files are relatively small and require minimal storage space. Recommended storage capacity for background music use:

  • Recommended: 128 GB
  • Minimum: 64 GB

If your device storage becomes full and you can no longer download tracks or playlists, you can clear stored data as described below.

Windows Devices

  1. Open Settings ⚙️ in the Feelment app.
  2. Go to Other.
  3. Under Disk Space, click Clear.

iOS and Android Devices

  1. Open Settings ⚙️ in the Feelment app.
  2. Go to Clear Cache.
  3. Tap Clear.
