Quick Guide for Background Music (Windows Devices)
Checklist
Before starting to use Feelment background music, check the following:
- You have downloaded the Feelment app. Instructions for downloading the app can be found here.
- You have an active music subscription or have started a free trial.
- Your device is connected to the Internet.
- You have connected your device to speakers (wired or wireless). To ensure the Feelment app connects to the correct audio output, connect the device to the speakers first, then open the Feelment app.

Overview of the Feelment App Home Screen
The background music home screen opens when you log into Feelment. The home screen shows recently played playlists, updated as music is played. Recommended playlists consist of similar playlists you have played before. Recommended for today are, for example, seasonally appropriate playlists. New playlists contain the most recently added playlists in Feelment.
On the right side of the app, you will find the player, which displays information about the currently playing playlists and tracks. You can hide the player by tapping the three lines in the top right corner of the player. To make the player visible again, tap the same button.

Searching for playlists
- Tap the search bar at the top of the app that says Search music and playlists.
- You can search and browse playlists using location and genre buttons.
- By tapping the Low / Mid / High buttons, you can filter playlists by tempo.
- The Old / New buttons filter playlists based on whether the music is newer or older.
- By tapping a playlist name or icon, you can view the playlist’s details, including the number of tracks, total duration, description, and track information.
- To browse all playlists in the Feelment app, tap the See all playlists button.
- To search for playlists by keyword, tap the Search playlists field at the top of the app.
- Type a keyword in the search bar, for example, “summer.” Press Enter or tap the magnifying glass icon next to the search bar.
- Tap the Playlists button below the search bar.
- You will now see playlists that match your search.
Playing Playlists
You can add a playlist to playback by tapping the play button next to it. You can play multiple playlists at the same time by tapping the play buttons for several lists. The currently playing playlists can be seen in the player located on the right side of the app.
Removing a Playlist from Playback
To remove a specific playlist from playback, tap the X above the playlist (at the bottom of the player). See the illustrated instructions above.
Playing a Playlist in Track Order
By default, Feelment plays playlist tracks in shuffle mode. Below are instructions for playing playlists from the Feelment music library in track order.
- Open the playlist details by tapping its name.
- Add the playlist to favorites by tapping the heart icon.
- Tap the Shuffling button. It will change to Playing in order. The playlist tracks will now play in track order.
Searching and Playing Individual Tracks
- Tap the search bar at the top of the app that says Search music and playlists.
- Type the keyword you want in the search bar. A list of the first results will automatically appear below the search bar. To see all results, press Enter or tap the magnifying glass icon next to the search bar.
- To play a track, tap the three dots next to it.
- If you want the track to play immediately after the currently playing track, tap Play next.
- If you want the track to move to the end of the queue, tap Add to end of queue.
- You can also add an individual track to the play queue by tapping and holding the track name, then dragging it into the queue.
Can’t Find the Track You’re Looking For?
Check that the track or artist name is spelled correctly. If the track still cannot be found, you can always contact our customer service at info@feelment.com. We will add missing tracks to the catalog whenever possible.
Managing the Play Queue
You can view the currently playing track information at the top of the player. The queue shows the next five tracks up for playback.
You can reorder upcoming tracks by tapping and holding a track, then dragging it to your desired position. Alternatively, tap the three dots next to a track and select Move up or Move down.
To remove a track from the queue, tap the three dots next to it and select Remove from queue, or tap and hold the track name and drag it outside of the player.
Pausing Music and Skipping Tracks
You can pause music by tapping the ⏸️ button in the player. To skip to the next track, tap the ⏩ button.
Adding a Track to the Blacklist
By tapping the downvote icon 👎 in the player, you can add the currently playing track to the blacklist. Feelment will no longer play that track.
Adjusting Volume
You can adjust the volume by tapping the Speaker icon in the player. A volume bar will appear, which you can adjust by tapping, holding, and dragging the bar up or down.
Importing Spotify Playlists
- Go to My Feelment by typing my.feelment.com in a web browser, or tap the shopping cart icon in the Feelment app sidebar.
- Log in to My Feelment with the same credentials as the Feelment app. Detailed instructions for importing Spotify playlists can be found here.
- Imported Spotify playlists will appear in My Library in the Feelment app.
Adding a Playlist to Favorites
- Tap the playlist name or icon.
- Tap the heart icon in the playlist details.
- The playlist added to favorites is now available in My Library.
Downloading a Playlist for Offline Use
- Tap the playlist name or icon.
- Tap the offline icon (downward arrow).
- Tracks will now download to the device. Once downloaded, a cloud icon appears next to the track.
Creating Your Own Playlist
You can create your own playlist by tapping Create playlist in My Library.
