Importing Spotify playlists
By importing your Spotify playlists into Feelment, you make them suitable for public playback. Playlists can be imported in My Feelment.
You can import playlists from Spotify to Feelment via the My Feelment website. Importing a playlist creates a copy in Feelment, after which the playlist can be played with the Feelment app. Playlists imported from Spotify can be found in My Library in Feelment.
Instructions for importing a Spotify playlist
- Log in to My Feelment.
- From the side menu, select Music, or choose Manage Music from the homepage.
- Click the Web player / remote button for the desired location/area.
-
Click Import a Spotify Playlist. When importing a playlist for the first time, the website will ask you to log in using your Spotify credentials.
- In the menu, you'll see the Spotify playlists you've created, as well as playlists you've saved to your Spotify library (marked with a heart). To import a playlist, click on the one you want to import.
-
Once the playlist has finished loading, a cloud icon will appear next to it. If Feelment’s music library is missing any tracks from the playlist, the text Missing Titles will appear next to the cloud icon. Clicking on the text will download the list of missing tracks to your device.
- Once you’ve imported all the playlists you want, click Close.
- You can find the imported Spotify playlists in both My Feelment and the Feelment app, under My library.
Updating Spotify Playlists
Since the playlists imported from Spotify are copies, they won’t update automatically. If you make changes to a playlist in Spotify, you’ll need to re-import it into Feelment. Alternatively, you can edit the playlist directly in the Feelment app.
Feelment didn’t find all the tracks — what should I do?
Feelment’s music library may not include all the tracks available on Spotify. The general match rate is around 70–90%, but for unknown UG artists, the match can be significantly lower. If not all tracks are found when importing a Spotify playlist, a “Missing tracks” note will appear next to the playlist name. By clicking on this, you can download a file containing information about the missing tracks.
If Feelment didn’t find tracks from your playlist, or if only very few were found, you can always contact our support/customer service, and we’ll add the missing productions to our catalog.
