Getting started with Feelment's Advertising Service
With the Advertising Service (Digital Signage), you can display ads on digital screens in your premises. Here’s how to get started.
Required Devices
To display ads, you need a Windows computer connected via HDMI cable to your TV screens. Ads cannot be played via Chromecast. You can display ads on multiple screens using a HDMI splitter.
Instructions for New Feelment Customers
- Connect your Windows computer to the TV screens using HDMI cable.
- Create a free Feelment account for your business at bit.ly/luo-tili.
- Download the Feelment app for your computer from the Microsoft Store and log in using the credentials created in step 2. Detailed instructions for downloading the app can be found here.
- Start advertising by adding ads at my.feelment.com. Quick instructions for adding ads are available here.
Note: When you create a Feelment account, you automatically get a free trial. You do not need to subscribe to continue using the Advertising service after the trial ends — the service will remain free.
Instructions for Existing Feelment Customers
You can display ads from the same computer you use for other Feelment services, or start advertising from a separate computer. Detailed instructions are available below.
- Connect the computer (the one running the Feelment app) to the TV screen using a HDMI cable.
- If you want to display ads from the same computer where the Feelment app is already in use, skip to the next step "Managing ads in My Feelment". If you want to start advertising from a new computer:
- Log in to My Feelment. Login instructions can be found here.
- Create a new zone for advertising. Instructions are available here.
- Download the Feelment app to the computer. Download instructions can be found here.
- Log in to the Feelment app and select the newly created zone during login.
Managing ads in My Feelment
- Start adding ads by logging in to My Feelment. More login instructions are here.
- Click Manage Ads on the homepage, or select Advertising from the sidebar.
- Click Ads for the location and zone where you want the ads to appear.
- Click Import Ad.
- A window named Library will open:
- In the My Files folder, you’ll see all files uploaded to your service.
- In Ad Lists, you’ll see all your created ad lists.
- Ready-made ads are available in Feelment, Sports, and Beverage Ads folders.
- To upload files from your computer, use the gray box: drag and drop files into it, or click the box to select files.
- Select the ad by clicking the box next to it. To send multiple ads to the area at once, select them all simultaneously. My Feelment remembers your selections even if you pick ads from multiple folders at once.
- When all desired ads are selected, click Export Selected.
- You can add a price to a beverage ad by clicking Price.
- Schedule ads for specific days by clicking the Every Day banner. Then click the days you do not want the ad to appear — these days will turn grey.
- Schedule ads for specific times by clicking All Day.
- A window opens where you can set start and end times. Edit times by clicking the numbers and typing, or click the clock icon at the end of the row.
- To delete an ad, click the three dots and select Delete Completely.
- To reorder ads, click the three lines next to an ad and drag it up or down.
- Once all changes are made, click Done. The changes will appear in real time in the Feelment app under the Advertising section and on your TV screens.
