General hardware requirements
To ensure the best experience and reliability, devices must meet the hardware requirements outlined in this article.
The choice of a suitable device depends on the purpose of using Feelment and the space in which itโs used. Our full-featured service runs on Windows devices through the Feelment app. Additionally, our background music service is available on certain Android and iOS devices, as well as via the browser version through the My Feelment portal.
Windows devices are available as tablets, laptops, and desktop PCs. For a small space and just background music, a tablet (e.g., Surface Go) is perfectly sufficient. However, if you also plan to offer karaoke to customers, a laptop or All-In-One PC is a more practical solution in terms of usability.

Hardware requirements for sports broadcasts
You can play Feelment sports broadcasts on a Windows PC via the Feelment app or by subscribing to our Blackbox service. A network connection is required โ we always recommend a wired (Ethernet) connection for sports broadcasts.
To play sports, you also need a connection from your computer to a TV, either wired or wireless. See below for details.
Wired connection
We recommend connecting the computer to the TV via an HDMI cable for the most reliable performance. For distances over 10 meters, an active HDMI cable is required. To play the same broadcast on multiple screens simultaneously, an HDMI matrix or splitter is needed to keep broadcasts in sync.
Wireless sports broadcasts
You can stream sports broadcasts wirelessly using the Feelment TV app, available from Google TV. For wireless playback, you need one of the following:
-
Android TV (OS version 12 or later)
-
Chromecast with Google TV (Note: Chromecast production has ended; replaced by Google TV Streamer)
-
Google TV Streamer
-
Google TV Stick
